Motorbike rider with helmet and female pillion rider without helmet

I remember seeing this ad for a motorbike with a handsome hunk riding it.

What a bike, what a machine, what a guy, what a helmet!

I looked at the ad. At the four-stroke state-of-the-art engineering marvel that responded to full throttle by breaking through performance barriers… whatever that meant.

I looked at the sheer excitement on the young man’s face as he looked at the road ahead, and as he felt the slim arms that held his waist…

Slim, dressed casually in a pair of jeans and T-shirt, her glasses were perched high on her head as she sat behind and looked with excitement at the road ahead…

“Four wheels move the body, but two wheels move the soul.”

You’ve often heard how dangerous it is to ride a motorcycle. But for the most part, motorcycle riding is safer than you think. It requires you to be extra attentive and aware of your surroundings, but you are still able to relax and enjoy the ride. Too much time spent on thinking about bad consequences is going to rob you of one of the greatest adventures and joy you could ever have.

If you ask a biker like me, What do bikes mean to you? What does riding do to you? Why don’t you buy a car instead?, with a smile I’ll answer, “When the bike rumbles, the adrenaline rushes and the feeling of being one with your bike can never be expressed in words. The feeling when you ride is like no other. The wind touching your body, you feel free from the world, you feel unstoppable. Riding is embedded into your blood, it brings smiles on the gloomiest days. It’s a natural anti-depressant, and for most of us, it’s a huge chunk of our lives.” The above quote sums it up every time I wrap my legs around any bike, be it a 90cc 2 stroke or a 1200cc modern superbike.
