She has started choosing wrong paths

I have a very close friend who requires my support every now and then as her family isn’t supportive enough. These days she acts really strange. Although I am always there to guide her, now she has started feeling that my guidance is no less than a burden. She has started choosing wrong paths and now I can’t help her out at all as she has literally started ignoring me.

I appreciate the fact that you have been available to someone when they needed you the most. In life, we will meet a lot of people who need help; we will be able to help some but not all. I feel you must communicate with your friend once clearly to understand what is actually bothering her. If she refuses to communicate, you can try and involve someone who is mutually known to both of you. Sometimes friends may also need professional advice or guidance which you may not be able to provide. In such a case, speaking to an adult who is known to both of you would help.
