The Leaf and the Flower
At night, I was strolling in the park,
The night sky was empty, gloomy and dark.
Cold winds passed by,
Sending shivers down to my spine.
Many passed by, not sparing me even a glance,
I was all alone, I had lost my chance.
My chance to live my life,
I couldn’t feel the rhythm anyone, my heart was stabbed by a knife.
I looked up; I saw a blooming flower,
That was my childhood, with so many dreams to devour,
A smile formed on my lips, but soon faded away,
I looked down to see a leaf, dry and crushed, in the grey.
